CIO, Dairygold
Brian is Head of IT for Dairygold, with responsibility for all aspects of IT across the Dairygold divisions. Brian joined Dairygold in late 2013 and has been key to technological transformation during this exciting growth period in the organisation’s history. In preparation for the abolition of milk quotas, Dairygold has invested €250Million in plant, facilities, technology and personnel over the past three years. Brian and has team have been central to this, ensuring that the Dairygold technological landscape reflects the scale of this investment and the inevitable challenges growth brings to an organisation. Since joining Dairygold, Brian has led the organisation through successful rollouts of VOIP, CRM, and has seamlessly moved Dairygold into a hybrid cloud model for all appropriate infrastructure, including Dairygold’s ERP system. This has resulted in significant cost savings and most importantly, rapid deployment of relevant technology to staff and external stakeholders.
Prior to joining Dairygold, Brian held several senior technology leadership roles in VMware and Motorola over a 14 year period. This has given him a keen insight into technological trends, life cycles and how technology becomes a key enabler for the most successful companies.
Prior to those roles Brian spent 8 years living and working in the US, including a stint serving in the US Military.
