Madelein is an innovative thinker and challenges the status quo. She leads agile and fast moving teams, where client service is a central feature, and self-determination of team members is expected. She has an entrepreneurial streak, and as a recent alum of Singularity University in San Fransciso, she believes in the power of technology to disrupt our world and established businesses in the near future. She is currently interested in Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation, as well as the untapped potential for Blockchain.

Madelein has joined Intertrust Group as CIO, as part of the global executive board who brought the company to IPO in October 2015 (through December 2017). This period also included several acquisitions to be integrated in the landscape. She also holds a Non-Executive directorship with Motion10, a Rotterdam based technology company, and works with DigiGurus.nl to provide digital disruption on steroids to companies requiring a rethink about their approach to digital disruption.

As a Big 4 trained Chartered Accountant, she has a natural affinity for fintech or in any situation where processes have to be matured to meet market needs (start-ups needing a COO).
