Rob is an IT leader with over 16 years’ experience in the travel and retail industries and his role requires him to proactively manage an IT Operations function in line with overall IT strategy, against service levels and a focus on customer satisfaction. Rob has previously worked in technical roles at various levels and for the past 5 years has been the Infrastructure Manager at Findel Education. Rob has a strong strategic background, with significant experience of developing and delivering IT strategy and transformation whilst leading high performing teams on the delivery and support of business critical 24/7 operational services.  Rob has a real interest in emerging technologies, which is evident by recent accreditations as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and AWS Solutions Architect. These skills are crucial as he drives the exploitation of the scalable and elastic benefits that public cloud and ‘infrastructure as code’ offers in a secure and governed approach. He has recently rearchitected the ITSM working model to adopt a more Agile methodology which has improved team morale, communication and productivity. Whilst in his current role, Rob has project managed and lead his team to many IT project success stories including, e-commerce platform re-architecture onto AWS, Cyber Security Posture review, Office 365 migration, Full Warehouse & Head Office Wireless Network Implementation, SAP EhP upgrade and a complete Business Continuity & IT Disaster Recovery Strategy re-design.
