Alfonso Razzi has almost 20 years of experience in the IT and technology world. Currently, he is Group CIO with the mandate fully reshape the IT capability of a Group operating in various businesses. He is also leading the journey of the Group, aiming to review business processes through the adoption of technology vertically across the businesses. He is also part-time operating as Independent Business and Technology Advisor advising private equity funds on technology investments and medium-large size companies to define or review digital roadmaps to support and enhance their business strategies.
In the past, he was CIO at Cityjet in Dublin, leading the company’s turnaround just after the Company has been sold by Air France to a private equity group of investors. Prior to that, he was in Dubai, leading the IT Partnerships & Acquisitions capability for Emirates Airlines.
He was also appointed as Program Director at Alitalia, leading a large-scale Program aiming to adopt new technology solutions to support and enhance the key commercial and operational processes for an airline. Prior to this, he was appointed Group Chief Information Officer at AirOne, where he defined and implemented a new IT Strategy to support the growth and the expansion of the airline into new markets. He covered also the role of Chief Integration Officer leading the IT post-merger integration of AirOne and Alitalia (the Italian flag carrier).
