Ger Mulcahy

SVP Global Wholesale Bank CTO EMEA, Bank of America

Ger Mulcahy is a senior technology professional with over 24 years in varied enterprise technology management roles. Currently responsible for CTO Architecture and Engineering in EMEA for Bank of America, Ger has recently taken on the additional responsibility to create an Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) for the global Bank.  Ger previously held the role of Global Wholesale Bank (GWB) EMEA CTO, GWB Global Business Relationship Management Lead and Head of GWB Infrastructure EMEA.

Ger has experience managing both large global organizations and small teams with responsibility for a variety of midrange, mainframe and cloud technology platforms.

Prior to joining the Bank in 2011, he was the Global Director of Operations for CSC’s Trusted Cloud and Hosting business.  Over the course of his career, which included a number of years in the United States, Ger has worked with Lycos, Harvard Business School, BBN, Genuity, CSC and others, primarily in the areas of Cloud, Managed Hosting and Internet Service Provision.  He has experience in Data Center Management, Information Security, Systems Administration, Middleware, Database and Cloud architecture technology and management roles.
