CIO, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine
I currently lead the IT and Library and Archives departments for a world-leading centre for research and postgraduate education in public and global health with an annual £160m turnover. We deliver services to around 1,500 academic and support staff and 5,000 students across 150 countries. In the past 12 months we have migrated all staff onto Office365 for email and intranet, re-platformed our main website and delivered a pan-organisation Shared Helpdesk Tool.
I have previously worked in lead roles within portfolio and project delivery, operational management, production control and quality and have experience in the retail, telecommunications, higher education, financial services and insurance sectors.
My experience includes governance, planning, leadership, risk and budget management, service provision, restructuring, process improvement, solution development, service delivery, customer services and management of a diverse range of staff and stakeholders.
I am highly committed, motivated and enthusiastic and have a strong academic background. I am currently advancing postgraduate research in the field of multi-generational leadership as I study for a Doctorate of Business Administration.
I enjoy outdoor pursuits and organise group walking and running events. I currently mentor 3 people and lead various children’s groups at Church.
