We are proud to announce Sjaun Wong as our Chairman! Sjaun is a proven business graduate with substantial experience managing data analytics and data science teams, delivering digital transformation strategies (implementation, integration and activation using data science), strategic audits, project management and managing marketing analytics and CRM tools. He is recognised as a thought-leader in the industry where he has spoken and chaired a range of events which ensures he is at the cutting edge by networking and learning from his peers. As Head of Business Insights, he was responsible for the data analytics tech. stack, engineering, data science and insights at GVC, a sports betting and gaming company. The team he managed was pivotal in enabling the rapid growth of GVC market cap. from circa £280mil. (01/16) to over £6bil. (with the recent Ladbrokes Coral acquisition). His team provided a simple and intuitive self-service dashboard with access to the 100s of GBs of customer data within seconds requiring no technical knowledge (e. g. SQL). Recently, him and his team were responsible for the largest digital transformation projects, Customer 360 degree strategy. This included a Big Data Lake (MapR on Hadoop), improving and monitoring data hygiene at source, migrating Adobe Analytics to Google Analytics, building an ID graph to join user data to customer ID data and activating this data using machine learning intervention strategies at scale. There was an estimated ROI over 2 years of ±1,100% incremental uplift from a static acquisition marketing spend.
